50 Word Review: The Anomaly by Herve Le Tellier

Whether you’re a sci-fi fan or just a lover of a fast-paced read with a large cast, this book is a must-read. Lots of deep questions asked and the ending was one I hadn’t picked in the least. Highly recommended.

50 Word Review: Sleeper Agent by John Birmingham

A fast, fun adventure. There’s shady corporations, secret cloning programs and enough biffo to satisfy the vast majority of readers. Birmingham has set up a story that has a lot more legs in the future, if he has time on top of the other series’ he wrangles. Bring it on.

50 Word Review: White Noise by Don DeLillo

This mid-1980s novel remains relevant today in spite of the total absence of internet / mobile devices and social media. TV plays the perfect representation of all of these, in an engaging mix of family dynamics, academic satire and detailed but engaging debates on the fear of death.
